What the job involves

As a Technical Manager you run the technical department for a region or a group of sites - owning design delivery, consultant appointments, planning conditions and warranty compliance. You lead a team of coordinators and answer for the technical position across your projects.

Lead the technical function for a region or group of developments
Appoint and manage external consultants
Own the design programme and the discharge of planning conditions
Manage and develop a team of technical coordinators
Ensure compliance with building regulations, NHBC and warranty
Report the technical position to senior management

Who you are

A technical coordination background in housebuilding
Experience leading and developing a technical team
A strong grasp of planning and building regulations
A relevant technical or engineering qualification
The ability to manage multiple sites at once

Typical salary

£55,000 – £75,000
